Nut allergy reminder

Please remember that we have students who have allergies to nuts. Kindly refrain from sending any food containing nuts. In addition to nuts, we would appreciate if you did not send the following: gum, lollipops and plastic drink bags.

Homework

Regular homework begins today. Language Arts homework will be on Mondays and Wednesdays. Math homework will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Spelling tests and the Reading program will begin September 14th. Primary students begin these programs later in the year.

Paper
C.A. uses paper which had already been used on one side. Please do not panic if you find respiratory therapy questions on the other side of your students work.

If you have access to paper which would normally be discarded, the school would appreaiate it. Colored paper is also welcomed.

Clothing
As a reminder, indoor shoes are required and kept at school. It would be appreciated if the sneakers could have white soles. Remember comfortable clothing for Phys. Ed.

Hockey

Look for this year's hockey program information going home on Monday.

After School News

Since the after school program is now licensed, there are a few changes:

1. Crossroads will now be providing the afternoon snack.

2. The school will need to approve casual supervision students as we must maintain an acceptable ratio. (24 hours notice would be appreciated.)
